School bus involved in crash on Lizard Lick Road near Wendell

A school bus was involved in a crash Thursday morning on Lizard Lick Road near U.S. Highway 64, close to Wendell.

Limited details were available, but WRAL News crews saw kids gathered outside the bus before 8:30 a.m.

An ambulance was at the scene, and the school bus was stopped in the road.

A tow truck was at the scene to remove another car, which was badly damaged in the crash.

The school bus did not appear badly damaged.
