Woman, two men hospitalized after shooting in Scotland Neck, police say

Police in Scotland Neck on Sunday are investigating a shooting that sent three people to the hospital the day before.

According to the Scotland Neck Police Department, officers responded to a shooting around 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the 1700 block of Woodlawn Drive.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.

One of the men suffered a “serious” gunshot wound to the wrist area, and the other sustained a graze wound to his thigh.

According to Scotland Neck police, all parties involved are recovering and cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
