SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – Mother’s Day is Sunday and you might be looking to get something for mom to plant in the garden.
It’s now almost the middle of May and we have seen some warmer weather recently. At Calabrese Farms in Southwick, it’s looking very colorful and with Mother’s Day this weekend, there are plenty of flowers available for mom.
Joe Calabrese told 22News, “Mother’s Day is a big weekend for hanging baskets for gifts for your mother and we have everything out now petunias, geraniums, new guineas, and all the favorites for Mother’s Day to hang on the front porches like that.”
And if mom likes asparagus or rhubarb that is in season right now and there is plenty available. Right now it is looking like it will continue to be on the cooler side as we head into Mother’s Day.
