Person shot, killed in Carmichael, officials say

CARMICHAEL, Calif. — One person was pronounced dead after a Sacramento County shooting late Friday night, according to officials. 

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office says a person was shot and killed in the 4900 block of Hillridge Way in Carmichael. 

Officials confirm the shooting is a homicide but no suspect information or motive has been released at this time.
