[ad_1]

PORTLAND, Oregon — Light showers will pick up this afternoon and evening for the Portland Metro. There is a slight chance for thunder storms Sunday but that threat increases Monday and Tuesday. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 60s both days.

A winter weather advisory will be in effect 8pm Sunday to 11am Monday above 4,500 FT in the Northern and Central Oregon Cascades. Folks can expect between 7″ and 15″ of snow above 4,000 ft. There could be as much as a foot of snow that falls up at Timberline Lodge, by Monday afternoon.

We dry out Wednesday through Friday with upper 60s to low 70s in the forecast. Showers are set to return next weekend.
