A quiet start to the work week

We dry and warm up by the middle part of the week.

PORTLAND, Oregon — We’ve been seeing light scattered showers at times Sunday with daytime highs in the mid to upper 50s, and it’s going to be just about the same heading into Monday afternoon. There’s a chance we could see some light showers in the morning, but rainfall amounts are going to be very light.

A weak system moves onshore Tuesday morning, but it’s going to be more dry than wet a good part of this week.

We will see two dry and sunny days on Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime highs will be in the mid 60s both days.

If you’re hoping to see the solar eclipse, it looks like you’re going to miss out this time around, at least on through the western side of Oregon. Folks in eastern Oregon should have a better chance of seeing the moon cover about 20-25 percent  percent of the sun on Monday morning.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
