DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is searching for a suspect in a shooting that sent one man to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday night.

APD told FOX31 that officers responded to a call reporting shots fired in the 200 block of Abilene Street.

When officers arrived, they were initially unable to find the victim and began a search.

The victim, a man, was found and taken to the hospital “suffering serious bodily injury from a gunshot wound,” APD said.

Police said suspect information was not available and the investigation is ongoing.
