Cody Hoover, an 18-year-old high school student from Arkansas, hit the MidFirst Bank Half Court Shot to win the big prize. Video shared by the Thunder shows that Hoover banked in the shot before a celebration erupted on the court.Hoover said he plans to use the money to “buy something cool” for his parents. The half-court bucket marks the 20th time a fan has made the shot since the contest started in 2008. The Thunder also beat the Utah Jazz 119-107 behind Chet Holmgren’s 35 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 31 points as the Thunder improved to a Western Conference-best 48-20.
