(FOX40.COM) — Officers in Citrus Heights were able to track down and arrest a suspected robber within two hours after the first calls came in of burglaries at local businesses, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.

Between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police received calls from three businesses describing robberies with a similar suspect.

Each of the reporting businesses said a man entered with a replica firearm and appeared “desperate for cash and willing to put himself and the entire community at risk.”

By using various technologies police were able to identify the man by 1:30 p.m. and later located him.

The 31-year-old was arrested and is facing three felony charges of robbery and a Post-Release-Community-Supervision violation, according to police.
