DENVER (KDVR) — Buc-ee’s in Johnstown, Colorado is officially open, and FOX31 is giving you an inside look at the cult-favorite travel center.
The Johnstown location at 5201 Nugget Road opened at 6 a.m. on Monday, and its doors will never close again.
The travel center occupies a massive 74,000 square feet and has 116 fueling positions and 12 EV charging stations.
Aside from its fueling options, Buc-ee’s offers even more inside its convenience store. From a variety of snacks, meals and souvenir items, Buc-ee’s seemingly offers everything.
However, the travel center’s top commodity might not be what you think. Buc-ee’s is known for having the cleanest bathrooms in America.
The Johnstown location has 19 urinals and 17 stalls, and there is even an attendant that will be available 24/7.
If you want to wait out the crowds and visit Buc-ee’s later in the year, you can still get a peek inside the convenience store. FOX31’s Dan Daru was at Buc-ee’s during its grand opening.
Here are some photos from inside the travel center.
If you can’t make it to Buc-ee’s during its opening week, don’t worry, the gas station and travel center is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
