Frosty Thursday morning for some

PORTLAND, Oregon — Areas of frosty temps this morning, but a sunny sky will bring a rapid warm up with valley highs pushing into the low to mid 60s this afternoon. Winds will be east, light to 15 mph, except afternoon east winds in the gorge 10-25 mph.
The sunny forecast covers all of our region. Portland may reach 70 degrees Friday for the first time this year and push into the 70s this weekend. The coast will see sunshine with highs well into the 60s Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday will be one of the warmest St. Patrick’s Days Portland has ever had with highs in the low to possibly mid 70s.
Spring begins Tuesday night at 8:06 pm.
Showers return Wednesday night or next Thursday, along with cooler weather.
