Authorities in Aurora are investigating the accidental death of a man early Thursday morning involving homemade fireworks.
Multiple people reported hearing an explosion at Grandview Dog Park near Quincy Reservoir, according to Aurora police. Officers found a man who had fatal injuries around 1 a.m.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Denver and a bomb squad with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office are helping with the investigation.
