A man was killed Saturday after a shooting on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh.
At 1:11 p.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a report of a person shot in the 5400 block of Rock Quarry Road. Officers found Steven Andrea Jones ll, 28, suffering from a gunshot wound. Jones was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
This incident is now being investigated as a homicide.
A suspect has not been taken into custody. This is an ongoing investigation.
