Raleigh police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday morning
At approximately 4:53 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of Quail Hollow Drive.
Upon arrival officers found Jose Ignacio Marquez-Diaz, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Diaz was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
This incident is now being investigated as a homicide.
A suspect has not been taken into custody.
