Canadian Natural Resources’ (NYSE:CNQ) total oil and gas production from Alberta wells in December rose to the highest since at least 2018, Bloomberg reported Monday.
Canadian Natural’s (CNQ) total output in the province climbed 2.3% to 703,330 boe/day, as oil output jumped to 437,757 bbl/day, its highest since September, and natural gas production rose to a record 1.593B cf/day, according to the report, which cited data from Alberta Energy Regulator posted on the Petrinex website.
Suncor Energy’s (SU) total production from wells increased 6.7% to 259,896 boe/day, with oil output of 259,033 bbl/day posting the highest level since March.
Cenovus Energy’s (CVE) December production from wells – excluding oil sands mines – ranked second in the province, edging past 635K boe/day but falling slightly from November; oil output fell a bit to ~500K bbl/day.
Tourmaline Energy (OTCPK:TRMLF) was Alberta’s second most prolific gas producer in December, behind Canadian Natural (CNQ), with 1.429B cf/day.
