Suspicious, Arlington Court
On Nov. 5 a resident reported her neighbor had been sitting in his car for almost an hour with a sweatshirt covering his head. She was concerned about his welfare. Officers spoke with the man who indicated he was just hanging out. He was advised of the complaint.

Theft, Columbia Road
On Nov. 4 a resident reported her car was entered overnight and a small amount of cash was taken. Officers are Investigating.
Mischief, Normandy Road
On Nov. 3 a resident reported that someone knocked on her front door and then took off running. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone.
Miscommunication, Sites Road
On Nov. 2 a repossession company reported they had repossessed a car from a residence. Later that day, the resident called the police department to report her car had been stolen overnight. She was referred to the repossession company.
Violations, Columbia Road
On Nov. 2 an officer stopped a driver for a traffic violation. After speaking with and identifying the driver, it was discovered that the driver had a suspended driver’s license. Also, the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. A probable cause search of the car resulted in finding a knife with an illegal blade, marijuana, and a scale. The 29-year-old Lorain resident was cited.
