Unlike most of the other collectibles and side activities in Spider-Man 2, the little Spider-Bots won’t naturally show up on your in-game map. You’ll need to rely on the colorful spheres that pulse from these 42 collectibles to find them—unless you use a thorough guide. Collecting all the Spider-Bots leads to a unique side mission with a pretty big deep cut reference for Spidey fans. You also get 150 XP and 100x Tech Parts for each bot, which is actually a pretty amazing early game bonus!

How to Reveal Spider-Bots In-Game

You can also unlock an ability on the Suit Tech tree for Traversal to have Spider-Bots show up on your mini-map (just the mini-map) in Spider-Man 2. The ability “All Seeing” only specifically mentions revealing Tech Crates, but it will reveal Spider-Bots on your mini-map, as well. It’s better than nothing! It’ll cost you 220 Tech Parts and 6 Hero Tokens to unlock.
