Kenya Re Announces Fire Drills in 2 CBD Towers & Other Towns – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited (Kenya Re) has scheduled fire drills in various buildings where it operates across the country including two skyscrapers in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
In a notice dated Tuesday, the organisation stated that the drills would be conducted at the Anniversary Towers along University Way and Reinsurance Plaza, situated along Aga Khan Walk.
The initial drill in the CBD will start at Anniversary Towers on Thursday, October 26, at 9 a.m.
Anniversary Towers, which Kenya Re owns, houses high-profile organisations and govt agencies, including the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) national offices.
Kenya Re stated that the Reinsurance Plaza fire drill will take place on Friday, October 27, at 9 a.m.

“In compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Chapter 514 Laws of Kenya) and in accordance with the requirements of Rule 23 of the factories and other place of work (Fire Risk Reduction) Rule, 2017. ” We wish to notify the public that we shall be conducting fire drills in our buildings,” read the notice in part.
On the other hand, other Kenya Re offices in Upper Hill and Kisumu will also undergo the fire drills.
