Free Doritos Locos Taco at Taco Bell — available now
Attention baseball and taco fans! As part of its annual “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco,” promotion, Taco Bell promised to offer a free Doritos Locos Taco to customers if a base was stolen during Major League Baseball’s championship, the World Series.
Well, the fleet-footed feat occurred — when the Philadelphia Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber stole a base in the first 2022 World Series game — and now you can reap the rewards.
To get the taco, you must download the free Taco Bell mobile app and register for a free Taco Bell Rewards Program account within 10 days of the day the base was stolen, which was Oct. 28.
Free Potbelly’s sandwich — Nov. 3
Did you know that Nov. 3 is National Sandwich Day? In honor of this tasty holiday, the fine folks at Potbelly are offering a free Original-sized sandwich with the purchase of an Original-sized sandwich via Potbelly’s website or app.

Free shot at hockey for kids — Nov. 5
Is your child or grandchild interested in playing hockey? They can take to the ice and try the sport with no commitment on Try Hockey for Free Day.
On Nov. 5, kids ages 4 to 9 can hit the ice with trained coaching staff to learn about the game — which helps build social skills, confidence, and mental and physical agility. Register now.

Free Medicare counseling — ongoing
In case you missed it last month, Medicare’s open enrollment period began on Oct. 15 and runs through Dec. 7. And free help is available to those who are new to the federal health insurance program or find it confusing.
Anyone eligible for Medicare can get no-cost one-on-one insurance counseling and assistance through the State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIP). This service is also free to families and caregivers of individuals on Medicare.

Free national park admission — Nov. 11
Many of the nation’s parks have direct connections to the military, and the lands serve as tactile reminders of the ideals, values and freedoms that men and women of the military work so hard to protect.
In honor of Veterans Day, all National Park Service sites will be waiving their fees and granting free admission to all on Nov. 11.
Free wooden puzzle craft project — Nov. 11
Bring the kids or grandkids to J.C. Penney between 11 and 12 p.m. on Nov. 11 and they can snag and decorate a free Jenga-like wooden block puzzle.

Free Hallmark greeting card — every month through December
You can get a gratis Hallmark greeting card to give to friends and family every month for the rest of the year. Simply sign up for the retailer’s Crown Rewards program, keep an eye on your inbox for coupons and visit your local store to choose your greetings.
Free weekly credit reports — through 2023
Before COVID-19 hit, consumers could only access one free credit report every 12 months from the three major credit-reporting agencies. But all that changed when Equifax, Experian and TransUnion loosened the reins during the pandemic.
