Police arrested seven in Germantown amid a crackdown on suspected drug activity, seizing guns and significant quantities of crack cocaine
Seven people were arrested, while multiple guns and what police described as a “large amount of crack cocaine” were seized during a search in Germantown’s Crystal Rock neighborhood Friday night.
According to the office of Montgomery County Police Department 5th District, officers observed what they believed were drug deals in the Crystal Rock area for several days before the sweep.
With the help of a SWAT team, officers arrested the suspects and also recovered three handguns, including two with extended magazines.
According to law enforcement officials, the team took 17 guns off the street in 2025.
