50 Cent, the iconic rapper and entrepreneur, has launched a bid for sole custody of his son, Sire Jackson, after his  ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy was named in a lawsuit. Joy has been named  in a high-profile lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with accusations pointing towards sex trafficking and abuse.

Reacting to the unfolding scandal and its implications, 50 Cent turned to Twitter to voice his stance. With his usual mix of humor and sarcasm, he addressed Joy’s alleged involvement in the Diddy lawsuit calling her a sex worker.

Joy’s reaction was one of deep frustration and concern, particularly evident in a passionate Instagram story. She accused 50 Cent of downplaying serious safety and well-being issues in light of the lawsuit’s allegations. Beyond the immediate concerns, Joy also revisited past grievances, alleging neglect, abuse, and even rape at the hands of 50 Cent, indicating a deeply troubled and unresolved past between the two.

The history of domestic violence allegations against 50 Cent, specifically from Joy, are not new. In 2013, an incident allegedly occurring at Joy’s condo led to charges against 50 Cent, including domestic violence and vandalism. The case concluded with 50 Cent striking a deal with Los Angeles prosecutors, resulting in probation and community service, after he pleaded no contest to a single count of misdemeanor vandalism, with additional charges being dropped.

50 Cent responded via Instagram to Daphne claims, suggesting that Joy moved closer to him with the hope of rekindling their relationship and possibly expanding their family. “You moved a mile away in hopes of having another baby with me but I was busy. So you moved back and then you started receiving money from Brother Love. Now here we are, little sex worker,” he stated.
