ON Saturday around 20:00hrs, a party of police ranks went to the New Amsterdam Prison based on a report and discovered a quantity of leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis sativa in seven bottles and eight parcels.
Several lighters and other contraband were also found.
According to the police, the narcotics were weighed and amounted to 4,245 grams.
Investigations are continuing.
