A four-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the south Sacramento area.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A child is hospitalized after she was hit by a vehicle in the south Sacramento area, according to officials.
Sacramento Police officers responded to reports of a crash after 6 p.m. near Elder Creek and Power Inn roads where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian, identified as a four-year-old girl, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the Sacramento Fire Department said.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the officers. DUI does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
