Police say Joseph Dyer turned himself in at the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning.
WOODLAND, Calif. — The second man accused of murder after a deadly Woodland shooting is now in custody.
According to the Woodland Police Department, 31-year-old Joseph Dyer turned himself in at the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

CASE HISTORY
The shooting Dyer was arrested in connection with happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday, April 2.
Police were called about a shooting on the 800 block of Ashley Avenue and found a man in his 30s dead in the backyard of a home.
They detained 31-year-old Rigoberto Torres later that afternoon and searched his home where they found two rifles – one of which is suspected to be the gun used in the deadly shooting.
Torres was booked on suspicion of murder and possessing the rifles. At the time, investigators said they believed Dyer shot the unidentified victim after getting the rifle from Torres.
Dyer turned himself in to authorities Thursday morning.
The victim has not been identified yet.
