A 23-year-old man was killed in a Bronx shooting Thursday, police said.

The man was standing near the intersection of E. 223rd St. and Bronxwood Ave. in Wakefield when gunfire erupted around 8:40 p.m., cops said.

The victim was shot in the neck.

Medics rushed him to Jacobi Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Police were still searching for the shooter Thursday night.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.
