In 2014, RSM US LLP established the RSM US Foundation to enhance the giving activities that were already happening in its offices across the country. A tax-exempt public charity, RSM’s foundation is dedicated to building tomorrow’s middle market leaders by enhancing educational outcomes through programs for individuals to have a career path to become an entrepreneur or middle market business leader; and supporting organizations committed to providing a more stable environment for youth in the areas of hunger, housing or health, which will help them excel in education. The RSM US Foundation, the firm and its people contributed $8.7 million to charitable causes in 2024. Since its launch in 2015, the RSM US Foundation’s charitable activities total $51.1 million to support causes aligned with its mission. Also, every year, RSM’s “Power of Love” program makes a significant impact on youth in the community by supporting more than 100 charities across the United States, Canada, India and El Salvador through dedicated fundraising and volunteering efforts. In 2024, RSM’s people raised more than $5 million to go toward local organizations and volunteered more than 63,000 hours. These efforts included beautifying local schools, creating community gardens, serving meals, participating with youth in squash tournaments, packing backpacks, engaging in local literacy programs and more. Another highlight occurred when more than 1,100 of RSM’s employees and their families showcased their commitment to stewardship and the Power of Love program by raising $365,740 during a 5K run/walk along the Las Vegas strip during RSM’s biennial owners’ meeting.
