2 teens hurt after they accidentally shot themselves in NW Harris County: Harris Co. Precinct 4

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Two teenagers were rushed to the hospital after they accidentally shot themselves in northwest Harris County, Harris County Precinct 4 reported.

Deputies said they responded to a shooting incident in the 4500 block of El Salvador Drive on Friday afternoon.

According to officials, preliminary information suggests the two 16-year-olds accidentally shot themselves, but they did not say where they were shot or what led up to the shooting.

When they arrived on the scene, officials said deputies immediately applied tourniquets to the teenagers until medical staff arrived.

Officials said that they are still investigating the shooting.
