SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were injured in downtown Sacramento Friday when a vehicle crashed into an ambulance.

Sacramento Fire says an ambulance was involved in an accident while responding to a call.

The driver of the car that collided with the ambulance was taken from the scene with serious injuries while a member of the fire department had minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
