2 in hospital after broadside crash knocks them off Highway 160 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people are in the hospital after two vehicles went off Highway 160 in Sacramento Wednesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Blumenfeld and Fee Drive. 

A CHP sergeant said a truck broadsided a car along Highway 160 that pushed them both off the roadway.

Officials said they’re not sure if alcohol was a factor in the crash, but they did find containers.
