2 found dead, 1 injured from gunshots. Wilson police confirm

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) — Two people are dead and another is expected to survive after a shooting on Monday afternoon in Wilson.

According to the Wilson Police Department, officers responded around 2:00 p.m. to the 900 block of Washington Street in reference to a gunshot call.

The responding officers found the three victims. They have been identified as Natasha Latrice Sutton, 44, Avantae Pender, 21, and Tiffany Fogg, 37.

Sutton and Pender were pronounced dead on scene by Wilson County Emergency Medical Services.

Fogg was transported to the Wilson Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.

The shooting remains under investigation.
