A nearby shooting wounds a teenager, drawing police and emergency vehicles to D.C.’s Union Station.
WASHINGTON — Two people are in custody after a shooting on Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast that caused a calamity around Union Station Friday afternoon.
DC police haven’t released any information about the people arrested, nor have they identified the victim.
Police stressed on social media that the shooting did not occur at Union Station.
When they arrived at the scene, near the intersection with North Capitol Street around 4:15 p.m., police found a teenager who had been shot. They say the teen was conscious and breathing when he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
