PORTLAND, (KOIN) — Two people were arrested, including one girl, after allegedly stealing large quantities of goods from a Tualatin Fred Meyer, police said.
The arrests happened on Tuesday when the Tualatin Police Department said they conducted an organized retail theft mission at the store.
Police said they recovered over $18,000 in stolen goods and arrested 32-year-old Portland resident Andreina De Los Angeles Villalobos-Hernandez and a juvenile girl. They are both accused of first-degree aggravated theft.
Police said they observed the pair placing large amounts of merchandise into bags, then leaving without paying.
The investigation is ongoing.
