CARY, N.C. — Gamers for Cures will hold its 12th annual Board Game Marathon at The Gamers Armory in Cary on November 8, raising funds for the Turner Syndrome Society of the Carolinas.
Founded by Dan Patriss, who was inspired by his daughter’s journey with Turner Syndrome, Gamers for Cures has raised over $170,000 from its past 10 events.
The funds support meetups, conferences, and continuing education for medical professionals to promote early diagnosis and treatment of Turner Syndrome – a chromosomal condition affecting only females and resulting in a variety of medical and developmental challenges.
